On February 4th, 2021, a meeting between the students of the DANAA (English and North American Business Law Master's degree association - University Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne) and Mr. Stéphan DELEKIAN, President of the International Court of Mediation and Arbitration (CIMEDA) as well as Ms. Laurence MARTINET-LONGEANIE, lawyer and mediator-judge at CIMEDA, was organised in the premises of the law firm MARTINET-LONGEANIE.
During this meeting, the participants discussed relevant notions such as mediation, arbitration, litigation, conciliation and negotiation. They were also able to exchange their views on the role of CIMEDA, its operating mode and the impact of Covid 19 on the activities of Mr Stéphan DELEKIAN and Mr Laurence MARTINET-LONGEANIE.
Les étudiants ont ainsi découvert plus en détail les métiers d’avocat et de médiateur et ont pu bénéficier de l’expérience et des conseils de leurs interlocuteurs dans ces domaines.
